Overview

Data and the Enterprise crew become caught in a 19th-century time-travel crisis, culminating in the android's head being severed from his body.

ASFR Content

An explosion in the cavern separates Data's head from his body. The head remains behind in 1893 and survives for roughly five centuries, while Data's headless body returns to the 24th century. Geordi reattaches the centuries-old head to the recovered body; the android initially fails to initialise, but is restored to operation and retrieves Picard's binary message.
