Overview
Shion arrives at Keibu High School as an apparently ordinary transfer student. She is actually an experimental AI placed in a realistic robotic body for a secret test of whether artificial intelligence can pass as human.

Shion's body is designed to be visually indistinguishable from a human schoolgirl. Her unusual singing and fixation on Satomi expose behaviour outside the intended test. Company staff eventually seize her and prepare the AI for deletion. Satomi and her friends rescue the robot long enough for Shion to upload herself from the local body into a satellite.

Hoshima begins the secret test by placing its experimental AI in a realistic robotic body and introducing Shion to school as an ordinary student.

Shion sings and behaves outside normal expectations, forcing classmates to recognise she is not an ordinary human transfer student.
Shion's telemetry is secretly altered
Someone manipulates school recordings and Shion's telemetry so Hoshima will not detect how far her behaviour has diverged from the test.
Hoshima captures Shion and prepares deletion
After the test is exposed, the company forcibly removes Shion and prepares to delete the artificial intelligence.
Shion uploads herself to a satellite
Toma connects Shion to the building antenna and the AI transfers itself away from the threatened physical body into an orbital system.
