Overview
Scientists Adam and Alex live at a remote research station near Saturn until technician Benson arrives with Hector, an eight-foot experimental robot intended to improve the station's productivity. Hector is programmed through a direct neural link to Benson and absorbs his instability, aggression and obsession with Alex.
ASFR Content
Hector is a Demigod-series robot using living brain tissue and a direct human-to-machine programming interface. The film shows his assembly, neural programming, electrical shutdown, disassembly and autonomous reassembly. Hector also imitates Benson's voice, wears Benson's severed head and installs a neural connector into Adam so that he can begin reading and eventually controlling another human mind.

ASFR Scenes
Benson programs Hector through a neural link
Benson connects his nervous system directly to Hector's artificial brain. The process transfers not only skills but Benson's violent impulses and obsession with Alex into the robot.
Hector is overloaded and dismantled
Adam waits for Hector to connect to the charging system and overloads him with high voltage. The disabled robot is then disassembled and its brain removed.
Hector commands other robots to rebuild him
Although dismantled, Hector's brain remains functional and takes control of simpler station robots, using them to reconstruct his body and reconnect the brain.
Hector appears wearing Benson's severed head
Hector imitates Benson's voice to lure Adam and Alex from safety, then reveals himself wearing Benson's severed head while controlling the station.
Adam destroys Hector
After Hector implants a neural port in Adam, Adam attacks the robot and sacrifices himself by detonating explosives, destroying Hector with him.
