Overview
Kryten receives a manufacturer message informing his owners that he is obsolete, must be dismantled and will be replaced by a newer mechanoid.
ASFR Content
Kryten initially accepts the order because his belief system and service programming treat manufacturer instructions as absolute. The crew persuades him not to submit, but Hudzen 10 arrives to enforce the replacement. Hudzen has become dangerously unstable during his long journey and finally shuts down when Kryten deliberately confronts him with a contradiction his logic cannot tolerate.
