Overview

Scientist Alma agrees to spend three weeks living with Tom, a humanoid robot whose artificial intelligence has been tailored specifically to make her happy.

ASFR Content

Tom is a machine in human form designed as an ideal romantic partner. His behaviour is continuously adapted around Alma's preferences rather than around an independent human history. The film occasionally exposes the machinery beneath the illusion through small glitches and through the presence of other apparently human android evaluators.
