ASFR Content

The film treats the body as a replaceable cybernetic 'shell'. Major Kusanagi has a fully artificial humanoid body around her cyberbrain, while the Puppet Master downloads itself into a female synthetic shell manufactured by Megatech Body. Both bodies suffer extensive physical damage. Kusanagi is nearly dismembered fighting an armored tank and later awakens in a replacement child-sized shell after merging consciousness with the Puppet Master.
