Overview
Soldier Deunan Knute reaches Olympus and reunites with Briareos, her former lover who is now a heavily cybernetic soldier, in a society shared by humans and engineered Bioroids.

Briareos is a visibly cybernetic survivor whose artificial body is integral to the story. Severe combat damage leaves him close to death before mechanic Yoshitsune repairs him. Olympus is also governed through the Gaia artificial intelligence and populated by genetically engineered Bioroids.
