Overview
Before reaching Olympus, Deunan and the heavily cybernetic Briareos survive as mercenaries in ruined New York and become involved with Olympus agents Iris and Olson.

Briareos suffers recurring internal system faults caused by deliberate sabotage, making his malfunctioning cybernetic body a major plot point. Olson diagnoses the problem and helps repair him. The pursuing villains Talos and Nyx are also advanced cyborgs, while Iris is a Bioroid.
