About the ASFR Gallery
A community image and video archive built as part of ASFR.net.
ASFR is a community centred on artificial people, robots, androids, fembots and related media. The ASFR Gallery gives members a place to collect, preserve and share ASFR-related images and video, bringing community uploads, personal albums and curated reference collections together in one searchable gallery.
The Gallery is part of ASFR.net and uses the same account system as the ASFR Forum, so members can move between the forum and gallery without maintaining a separate login.
Community uploads
Registered members can upload images and videos, organise media into albums, add titles and descriptions, and build their own Gallery profile.
Other members can browse approved public media, leave comments and save favourites.
Images and video
The Gallery supports both still images and video, including material that may be difficult to catalogue elsewhere: screenshots, clips, artwork, renders and other visual material relevant to ASFR.
The aim is not simply to host files, but to make useful material easier to find again.
Visibility and privacy
Uploaders can choose how their media is presented.
Moderation
Member uploads may be held for approval before appearing publicly. Moderation helps keep the Gallery organised and prevents inappropriate, duplicate or irrelevant material from being added to public collections.
A Gallery upload and a submission to an Official Master Gallery are moderated separately.
Official Master Galleries
Master Galleries are curated collections connected to the ASFR Master List. They are intended to bring related material together around a particular production, character, episode or other catalogue entry, while ordinary member uploads remain part of the wider community Gallery.
A media item can be approved for the normal Gallery without being accepted into an Official Master Gallery. Master Gallery inclusion is a separate moderation decision.
Preserving the archive
ASFR material has often been scattered across old websites, forums, personal collections and video sources. The Gallery is being developed as a long-term community archive so useful images and clips can be catalogued rather than disappearing when an external service or link vanishes.
Members should only upload material they are entitled to share, and should provide useful titles, descriptions and context wherever possible. Gallery staff may edit, moderate or remove material when necessary to keep the archive usable.
Part of ASFR.net
The Gallery works alongside the main ASFR.net site, the ASFR Master List and the community forum. Together they provide a place to document ASFR media, discuss it, and preserve the visual material connected with it.
