About ASFR.net

[Barbarella]

For all the folks new to the site, here's some info about ASFR.net!

The main site is essentially the front window into the rest of the content. Based around a standard WordPress install the SEO and sitemaps are the "hook" that draw the search engine bots to crawl and list the rest of the major content of the main website. The main site is broken down into three major parts.

1: The Community Gallery

A custom-coded "Flickr" style image a video hosting platform for ASFR followers. Anything ASFR related (the core of ASFR, not the statue offshoot) can be uploaded, from photo manips, to full AI created videos. The platform can take up to 1gb video files and all the major image formats. The user account system is tied to this forum, so if you have an account here...you can upload to the Community Gallery.

2: The ASFR Master List

The current major work in progress. Currently (as of October 11th, 2026) at over 200 movie and TV titles. The Master List is a custom-coded WordPress plugin which will (eventually..) list all TV shows, movies, shorts, music videos... in fact, ANYTHING from mainstream and independent film which features robots, cyborgs, super AI computers etc. The individual listing will also break down individual scenes and what happens in those scenes. The listing will also include screenshots with an extended screenshot link going back into the Community Gallery Master List folders.

The Master List is searchable by MANY...MAAAANY filters, including damage type, robot/android type, year released, key scene features and many more. For a look at what a completed listing looks like, have a look here... https://asfr.net/media/the-twilight-zone-the-lonely/

The Master List will be an ongoing project well into 2027 due to there being hundreds of mainstream film and TV that features aspects of ASFR. Eventually...the Master List will hold them all.

3: The ASFR Link Directory

Another major work in progress (as for Oct 11th, 2026) which will feature links to any and all relevant ASFR related sites, whether that be commercial or public.

4: The ASFR FTP

The largest collection of ASFR-related films, TV shows and more. Over 4000 files, at over 1.5 terabytes of disk space, hosted on the same server which holds the files for the Community Gallery; in other words, my own private server. Access to the ASFR FTP forum section is by request and there are rules governing who can access it.

What's to come?

Right now, I want to get the 4 main sections of the site fully running. The biggest time sink is going to be the Master List, but once that's at a stage where I am happy with it, then I will be looking towards opening an ASFR.net Discord (or equivalent...cause Discord has growing privacy issues).

There will also be a Patreon-style supporter system with two levels of support. General monthly donation support, and a higher tier called the "Creator Support" which will feature around 150GB to 200GB of what will essentially be private "Cloud Storage" (via FTP) for ASFR creators who need to back up their work.

The end-game for the site is to make it literally the front door to the entirety of the A.S.F.R community, linking off to the various niches of ASFR as a whole, whether that be to different sites, chat rooms or other communities. It's the one thing that has not happened in the ASFR community for a long time: a single site covering robots, fembots, malebots and everything in between...which then links off to other sites covering singular aspects of it.

Thats what asfr.net will be all about.
