That explains it...
There has been a steep rise in traffic to the front page of the man site. I had no idea what was causing it, until I done a search for asfr on google just to see where the search ranking is now.

Re: That explains it...
Have to admit, this is kinda comical, considering I joined FBC long ago as it being the predominant hosting
Re: That explains it...
Yeah, FBC existed for a long time, I think current admins inherited it from an account/person known as Dale Coba. It's remarkable that some of the same markers remain all the way from usenet - which I first heard about in 1982 and which I first logged on to 1992.

Wasnt Dale. Dale ran the original FTP. Kishin and Robotman (whos are members here), Chevy Monza (who also joined) had a big part in founding FBC, its original community and its Wiki, they held it over to the current admins.Svengli wrote: Wed Oct 28, 2026 3:58 am Yeah, FBC existed for a long time, I think current admins inherited it from an account/person known as Dale Coba. I actually came around to Fembot Central a couple of years after KOS-MOS founded it. She always owned the site until she disappeared at one point and the site went down. Since I'd been making backups of everything, I was able to bring it back at a new domain.Barbarella wrote: Wed Oct 28, 2026 6:34 am Wasnt Dale. Dale ran the original FTP. But it's good that people can at least find and check out this place through search engines. Even if it's mainly bots that use search engines now, the bots can recommend this place when asked.

I remember that. I wonder whatever happened to Kos-mos.
Re: That explains it...
Remember the Gynoid Gallery?! The original photo gallery. Wow hard to believe it's been so long.
Re: That explains it...
The Gynoid Gallery was the very first fembot-related thing I found on the Internet in May 1998 when I got my first PC, and I stayed up all night to look at it and the Female Android Cornucopia coming to me from my 56k modem.
Re: That explains it...
Dim recollections, yeah. The "M" Series stories really stand out to me.
