It's a start. I didn't use SeeDance, or any of the current top or near-top tier video generators out there. I just sat down, handpainted frames, sandpapered with Krita Diffusion, and then tweaked frame timings. Stiff as heck. but I think with some practice I'll get better:

[FemBot] Animation Test: Waking Robot Wife Unit
Re: [FemBot] Animation Test: Waking Robot Wife Unit
That came out well.
Re: [FemBot] Animation Test: Waking Robot Wife Unit
I wanted to do a semi-hand-animated short off of this one day riffing off of Ozone(2015), Cherry 2000 and NQH2, but using localised AI instead of just shovelling tons of shit into Seedance-class paid models also means trading off expenditure for more time spent planning and rigging instead. Maybe I should just do a comic version instead and wait for the AI data farm craze to crash and burn completely so I can get a proper local mid-iron to work with. (it's already dropping RAM prices, if you check- demand they planned to meet the supply they scalped not quite actualizing for most use cases)

That's lovely work!
Comics are a great way to build and play with narrative concepts. They also can be easily made into storyboards for more refined control to create videos.
If you're interested in a model that's almost quite as good as Seedance IMHO, but at a fraction of the cost, I'd recommend H3.
I've been experimenting a bit with it lately.
Minimax H3 and Fal offers post-trained and optimized versions which have a negligible drop in quality, but are blazingly fast and cost less: H3 Max and H3 Max Turbo.
H3 Max and Turbo sufficiently fast to create near-real time video in response to prompting, or to structure it like an interactive film. I wish I had the hardware to run H3 locally.
