Overview
Scientist Alma agrees to spend three weeks living with Tom, a humanoid robot whose artificial intelligence has been tailored specifically to make her happy.
ASFR Content
Tom is a machine in human form designed as an ideal romantic partner. His behaviour is continuously adapted around Alma's preferences rather than around an independent human history. The film occasionally exposes the machinery beneath the illusion through small glitches and through the presence of other apparently human android evaluators.

ASFR Scenes
Tom glitches during the first demonstration
While dancing with Alma, Tom unexpectedly begins repeating himself and has to be taken away for correction, immediately revealing the limits of the human illusion.
Tom begins the three-week partner experiment
After the glitch is corrected, Tom moves into Alma's home and begins continuously adjusting his behaviour to fit her preferences.
Alma discovers another evaluator is also a robot
An apparently ordinary woman involved in the programme is revealed to be another artificial person, widening the story's population of convincing human-form machines.
Tom chooses to wait for Alma in Denmark
Rather than returning immediately to the factory, Tom goes to the place tied to Alma's childhood memories and waits there for three days.
