Overview

In 2563, cyberphysician Dyson Ido finds the surviving head and upper body of a female cyborg in a scrapyard. He rebuilds her in a new body and names her Alita. With no memory of her past, Alita gradually discovers that she was an elite Martian combat cyborg.

ASFR Content

Alita is a human-brained cyborg whose mechanical body can be replaced while her core identity survives. Ido first reconstructs her using a body made for his late daughter. That body is later catastrophically damaged by Grewishka, after which Ido installs Alita in the advanced URM Berserker body. The film also depicts numerous other cyborgs with replaceable limbs, exposed machinery and modular bodies.
