Overview

After a nuclear war devastates humanity, artificial beings known as humanoids take an increasingly important role in rebuilding society. As anti-robot extremists campaign against them, advanced humanoids secretly begin transferring the memories and personalities of recently dead humans into artificial duplicate bodies.

ASFR Content

The film moves from visibly artificial blue-skinned humanoids to advanced replicas that are essentially indistinguishable from humans. These new bodies receive copied memories and personalities from dead people and awake believing themselves to be human. Captain Kenneth Cragis and Maxine Megan ultimately discover that they are themselves artificial replicas, as is Dr. Raven.
