Carl Franklin, son of Dr. Franklin, revives the Fembot program as part of a plan to steal a powerful directed-energy weapon created by the reclusive scientist Rod Kyler.

The episode returns to the Fembot concept with a new group of human-looking female robots under Carl Franklin’s control. The stored Callahan duplicate is remotely reactivated at the OSI, while additional Fembots infiltrate the operation around Rod Kyler and the energy-ray project. Tami Cross is revealed to be a Fembot, and the artificial women take an active role in stealing the weapon.
