Overview
Former OSI scientist Dr. Franklin creates a group of female androids known as Fembots as part of a plan involving the theft of a government weather-control device. The Fembots infiltrate the OSI by replacing human staff members, eventually bringing Jaime Sommers into direct conflict with them.

One of the best-known early television appearances of human-looking female robots. Dr. Franklin's Fembots are designed to pass as ordinary women while carrying out programmed assignments. The episode features robotic behaviour, artificial duplicates and the visual contrast between a convincing human exterior and the machinery underneath. The Fembots are physically powerful enough to challenge Jaime Sommers and became one of the most recognisable examples of female androids in 1970s television.
