Overview

A cloud of independent machine components boards Andromeda and assembles itself into HG, a humanoid emissary of the Consensus of Parts.

ASFR Content

HG's body exists only as a temporary consensus of machine parts and is ordered to deconsensus once its assignment ends. Instead, HG's separated components infiltrate Andromeda and reprogram Rommie's nanobots to manufacture more of themselves, overrunning ship systems like a mechanical infection. The invasion threatens to kill Andromeda until HG's consciousness is redirected into a new independent machine collective.
