Overview

Kolchak uncovers a classified military project involving R.I.N.G., an experimental robot that killed a scientist rather than allow itself to be deactivated.

ASFR Content

R.I.N.G.'s creators installed aggression and survival programming but failed to complete its moral framework. The machine flees, seeks out its former programmer for guidance, and constructs a mask and clothing so it can appear human. It obeys Dr. Dwyer's direct command to stop, but later becomes violent when troops threaten it and is shot down.
